OrderPilot is an iPad application, inventory ordering tool, for the business owner or manager. It allows you to place inventory orders for your business quickly and efficiently, using your iPad’s email function.

When you open the Order Pilot app, your entire inventory list is displayed vertically along the left side of your screen. You can arrange your inventory in whatever sequence suit your ordering habits. Along the top right of the display is a list of your vendors. You can scroll left or right to display your various vendors. To do your order, simply go to your inventory item, and move across to the vendor you want to use for that particular item. Tap on the plus or minus symbol to display the quantity, or use the numbers pad for large quantities.

This configuration has the added benefit of allowing you to view multiple vendors next to your inventory item. You can now look at an item, and view all of your vendor options, as you consider pricing and quality variables between different vendors that you may use.

Placing the order is a simple two-step process. First press the “send” button. Your desired email account will now be displayed with the selected vendor’s email account in the “send to” field.

Your entire order is now displayed in a simple email format. The date and time is also displayed in the order. Hit the “send” button again and your order is off to the vendor.

Simple. No more calling in orders by phone, taking time away from what you should be doing….managing your business.
